Chart match means the brand chart lists it as the equivalent. Otherwise the ΔE score shows how close the nearest colour is.

Questions
- Are DMC and Anchor numbers the same?
- No. Each brand numbers its own colours, so DMC 310 (black) is Anchor 403. Use the DMC to Anchor chart to find each equivalent.
- Why do conversion charts disagree?
- Brands dye to their own palettes, so most conversions are the nearest colour rather than an identical one. Different charts pick different neighbours. Our tables show how close each match is so you can judge.
- Which brands can I convert?
