Stiksteek en deelsteken
Stitchmate, PCStitch, WinStitch / MacStitch en Stitchly nemen stiksteken, halve en kwartsteken nu al mee in het uiteindelijke patroon. In PIXVIX kun je ze in de editor tekenen; ondersteuning in PDF en Workspace komt eraan.
Garenmerken en bestanden importeren
Stitchmate noemt 50+ garenmerken en WinStitch 30+, tegenover 21 in PIXVIX. Beide openen ook .OXS- en .PAT-bestanden van andere software, wat PIXVIX nog niet doet.
PDF's bijhouden die je al hebt
Pattern Keeper en Markup R-XP lezen PDF-patronen die bij andere ontwerpers zijn gekocht. PIXVIX houdt patronen bij die in PIXVIX zijn gemaakt. De editor van Stitchmate is bovendien gratis totdat je een PDF downloadt.
